EMPTINESS

This collection is portraying the feeling and emotion of emptiness, the kind of emptiness we all experience as humans. It is a personification of pure nothingness, alienation, desolation, loneliness, and apathy. The concept shows the uncomfortable feeling of being stuck and sheds a light on a topic we should discuss more. I challenged myself to show that emotion in my garments so the audience can feel the same way. I have interesting fabrics and textures to make it appear that that garments look see through, or “empty” without actually being like that, by using vinyls and creating skin like slips to go under.
