CREATIVE STUDY:
CAGED BIRD
This body of work is inspired by the Barbara Hepworth sculpture and the caged bird phenomenon, “You can have true freedom without discipline and structure”. I challenged myself to create a very artistic garment with structural elements using a lightweight leather material and concave patterns, playing with the juxtaposition of structure versus freedom.
