METAMORPHOSIS

METAMORPHOSIS

This Collection, titled β€œThe Metamorphosis,” shows what artistic growth looks like through the lens of the butterfly effect. The collection features different types of leather work and heat molding to reflect the feeling of skin shedding and molting, conveyed through custom MISHKA textiles which adapt and morph with each garment. Each piece takes its viewer through a technical journey, from conventional design to an amalgamation of creative process, genuine expression, and versatile, wearable art. Growth is often vulnerable, yet, through Metamorphosis, MISHKA discovers how tragically intrinsic discomfort is to true expression. Despite a friendly outer shell, these garments are channels for which tireless inner monologues find their voice.
