ART IN BLOOM ‘25:
GHOST FLOWER
Inspired by the Ghost Flower, Phantom Bloom embodies mystery and ethereal beauty—a delicate spirit shrouded in petals. The Ghost Flower serves as a botanical symbol of the connection between worlds, representing life, death, and rebirth. The gown’s signature floral fountain was achieved using an intricate heat-molding technique to sculpt the fabric into a tiered, cascading effect. Delicate florals, Spray Roses, Anthurium, and Thistle are intertwined with botanicals, Ruscs and Hanging Amaranthus. Completing the look is an extraordinary 30-foot veil, a breathtaking extension of the gown’s spectral essence. Hand-beaded with iridescent crystals, chains, and droplets, the veil glistens like a delicate spider’s web, catching the light with every movement. Flowers are woven through the sheer fabric, seamlessly tying into the floral fountain and corseted design, further blurring the line between the organic and the supernatural. Each element is meticulously crafted to capture the ephemeral beauty of the Ghost Flower—fragile yet powerful, luminous yet haunting.

ART IN BLOOM ‘24: The Bleeding Heart Affairs
These dueling looks draw inspiration from the heartbreaking tale of the bleeding heart flower. Two dresses embody the essence of this story: one captures the prince's desperate attempts to win the princess's affection with a garments adorned with intricate petals trailing down her skirt like like blood trailing down his heart, the other reflects the princess's nymph like obliviousness to his love and the tragedy that unfolds. Each piece resonates with the emotions of unrequited love and the enduring legacy of the bleeding heart flower, symbolizing the eternal bond between the prince and princess. The looks not only draw inspiration from the story but also from the intricate beauty of its petals. The first look unveils a jumpsuit with delicate petal detailing on the bust and the waist, evoking the image of an ethereal fairy. The second dress has a dramatic heart shaped cape that opens up to reveal a long, luxurious gown hand crafted from organza flowers, meticulously burned and sewn by hand to mimic the realistic appearance of petals. The two dresses are hyper realized versions of these floral silhouettes with a touch of magic that give them an enchanted feel to the hand-detailed designs.

ART IN BLOOM ‘23: ORCHIDEES JUMELLES
The twin looks, inspired by orchids, plays off the juxtaposition that is a flower blooming during the day and closing during the night. The first dress, fleur fermée uses soft drapped silks to show the texture of closed petals and designed to give the dress an inverted floral silhouette. The unique tiering gives the dress something visually different to look at. The second dress, fleur ouverte has a lot of structuring in the skirt that draws direct influence from an orchid’s shape and uses layered chiffons that give the piece lots of movement.
